Urinary Pathogen ID/AMR Enrichment Kit Set A (RUO) (96 indexes, 96 samples)
Vendor: Illumina
SKU: 20090308
In stock
Includes all reagents necessary for library prep and enrichment including tagementation and PCR reagents, IDT for Illumina DNA/RNA UD Indexes Set A, and Urinary Pathogen ID/AMR Panel to prepare libraries from 96 samples followed by 32, 3-plex enrichment reactions.
The Urinary Pathogen ID/AMR Panel (UPIP) is a next-generation sequencing (NGS) research panel that enables detection and quantification of over 170 uropathogens responsible for urinary tract infections (UTIs) and co-infections and covers more than 3700 markers and their alleles associated with antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
Key Features
-
Delivers simultaneous detection of 120+ bacteria, 35 viruses, 14 fungi, 4 parasites, and 27 sexually transmitted pathogen plus associated AMR alleles in < 24 hours using the MiniSeq and Rapid Reagent Kit
-
Enriches uropathogen target regions from a range of host and environmental samples
-
Detects less common, challenging-to-grow, and frequently missed uropathogens
-
Outperforms shotgun metagenomics and conventional urine culture methods
Streamlined workflow
The Urinary Pathogen ID/AMR Enrichment Panel Kit contains all library prep and enrichment reagents, indexes, and panel probes for on-bead tagmentation followed by a single hybridization step for generating enriched libraries. Integration of the enrichment kit with DNA extraction, sequencing, and DRAGEN Microbial Enrichment Plus allows a comprehensive and simple workflow for detection and identification of UTIs.
