Functions

Piroxicam is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug used for pain relief. It works by blocking the production of endogenous prostaglandins, which are involved in mediating pain, stiffness, pressure, and swelling. Piroxicam is well-established in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMF (20 mg/ml) or DMSO (20 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO or DMF may be stored at -20°C for up to 1 month.
