Hamilton Microlab NIMBUS is a compact liquid handler that uses air displacement pipetting to achieve superior measurement accuracy. With Microlab NIMBUS, experience fast, easy to use, and superior quality pipetting in a compact system at an affordable price.
The Microlab NIMBUS offers excellent high-throughput pipetting to save time and streamline workflows. With a small footprint, it makes maximum use of minimal lab space for versatility and efficiency.
Compressed O-Ring Expansion (CO-RE) Advantage
The Microlab NIMBUS uses highly accurate air displacement pipetting. It also leverages CO-RE Technology to achieve a tight seal between the pipette channels and tips for extreme accuracy. Optional performance monitoring tools further safeguard sample and results integrity.
Multiple base platforms suit a variety of needs and budgets.
NIMBUS4: Up to four independent CO-RE pipette channels work with tubes and plates
NIMBUS96: High-speed CO-RE 96 Probe Head works with 96- and 384-well plates in individual well, column row, and whole plate formats from 1–1000 µL
NIMBUS HD (High Density): Up to 8 independent CO-RE pipette channels feature independent Y and Z axes movements
VENUS 6 Software provides liquid handling workflow control and easily integrates third-party devices. With an intuitive Method Editor and drag-and-drop programming, users can quickly build methods.
Common applications Analytical Chemistry , Dilutions and Dispensing
Outstanding Performance within Budget
With several configuration options, the compact Microlab NIMBUS automated liquid handler can satisfy multiple workflow needs while keeping you within budget. It’s a must-have for lab automation beginners and professionals alike.
Fluid Motion Technology
More Workspace. More Performance. More Value.
Innovative drive system enhances the utilization of deck space, enabling researchers to automate more scientific experiments seamlessly within a single unit, ultimately saving valuable lab space.
DPS - Dynamic Positioning System
DPS enables all channels to pipette simultaneously, even across non-uniform patterns. Unlike fixed channels with equidistant spreading, DPS offers efficient yet flexible liquid handling for cherry picking, non-uniform and variable volume samples, and complex pipetting workflows.
CO-RE II Tip/Tool Attachment
The Key to Liquid Handling Workflow Excellence
The new CO-RE II technology assures more precise tip alignment, minimizing the risk of collisions. Also, tip coupling is faster which boosts productivity. Besides tips, a wide range of Hamilton tools are applicable with CO-RE II.
Aerosol-Free Tip Ejection
As part of CO-RE II technology’s functionality, pipette tips are gently ejected from each automated liquid handler pipetting channel. This prevents aerosol generation that may expose users to harmful biohazards or cross-contaminate samples and laboratory surfaces.
Highly Configurable
The compact deck offers 11, 12, or 20 ANSI/SLAS positions for plates, reagents, consumables, and devices.
