The Infinium Global Diversity Array with Cytogenetics, 96 Samples Kit combines a versatile disease-focused genome-wide backbone with optimized content for advanced cytogenetic analysis. Each BeadChip assays ~1.8M total variants. Each kit contains 12 BeadChips and the necessary reagents for amplifying, fragmenting, hybridizing, labeling, and detecting 96 samples.
The Infinium Global Diversity Array with Cytogenetics-8 is a scalable, cost-effective microarray that contains approximately 1.8M probes, with 160K probes supplementing the current Global Diversity Array manifest across more than 4800 tiered genes. Supplemental probes were selected based on the input from a cytogenetics research consortium and strategically localized near exons, in spatial consideration of existing probe placement, to deliver optimal performance in copy number variation analysis.
