The Infinium Core-24+ v1.2 Kit offers a highly economical way to perform large-scale genetic studies. The Infinium Core-24 v1.2 BeadChip is a 24- sample HTS format BeadChip and supports up to 300K custom-defined BeadTypes. Each Kit contains 2 BeadChips, along with reagents for amplifying, fragmenting, hybridizing, labeling and detecting 48 DNA samples.
The customizable Infinium Core-24 BeadChip offers an economical way to perform and support large genetics studies. Developed in collaboration with several leading research institutions, the Infinium Core-24 BeadChip contains highly informative genome-wide tag SNPs found across diverse world populations, additional high-value markers (including indels and updated exome-focused content), and has the capacity to include up to 300,000 semi-custom markers.
In addition to cost-effectively performing large-scale genotyping studies, this BeadChip can be used to quickly and easily obtain baseline sample datasets for a variety of downstream applications, including common variant, mtDNA, ancestry, sex confirmation, loss-of-variant, indel, and CNV detection studies.
The Infinium Core-24 BeadChip is based upon the trusted Infinium assay. Using the proven iScan System, this 24-sample BeadChip combines affordability with high-throughput sample processing to deliver high-quality, genome-wide information.
