SIRscan Discs dispensers - SIRscan discs manual dispensers are designed to allow laboratory professionals to deposit antibiotic discs onto agar media in order to perform antibiograms in accordance with standardized methods. Only i2a SIRscan discs must be used with the dispenser. The cartridges can be used with i2a dispensers available in a 6-disc dispenser for 90 mm diameter round Petri dishes and a 16-disc dispenser for 120 x 120 mm square Petri dishes (SIRscan Discs IFU).

Simplifies the positioning of the discs on the agar.
Helps maintain consistent spacing between discs.
Applies several discs in a single operation and limits the handling errors of individual discs.

Storage and handling

After use, store the dispenser with its desiccant in the storage box; change the desiccant at least once a week (ref. 310353). If stored in the fridge, keep 25 minutes at room temperature before use. Clean all parts with 70° denatured alcohol before first use; avoid shocks and vibrations.
