Refeyn
Refeyn Ltd is a UK life-science instrumentation company headquartered in Oxford, spun out of the University of Oxford in 2018 to commercialise mass photometry — the light-based bioanalytical technique developed in Prof. Philipp Kukura's lab that measures the mass of individual biomolecules in solution by quantifying their light scattering. Refeyn's benchtop mass photometers (TwoMP, TwoMP Auto, SamuxMP, KaritroMP and MyMassMP) deliver molecular mass, oligomeric state, sample purity and interaction data in minutes from microlitre, label-free samples, for proteins, nucleic acids, complexes, AAV and other biotherapeutics. The company opened a US headquarters with demo and service laboratories in Waltham, Massachusetts in 2024, achieved ISO 9001 certification for instrument manufacturing in 2025, has more than 500 instruments installed worldwide and over 1,000 publications using mass photometry, which is now referenced in USP guidelines for AAV manufacturing.
Danyel Biotech represents Refeyn's mass photometry instruments in Israel, providing local sales, technical service and application support.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who represents Refeyn in Israel?
Danyel Biotech represents Refeyn's mass photometers (TwoMP, SamuxMP, KaritroMP, MyMassMP) in Israel, providing local sales, service and application support.
What is mass photometry?
Mass photometry measures the mass of single biomolecules in solution by quantifying the light they scatter, giving molecular mass, oligomeric state, purity and interaction data in minutes without labels or immobilisation.
