SeraCare

  • USA

SeraCare, part of LGC Clinical Diagnostics, develops quality-control and reference materials for clinical genomics. Its Seraseq® line provides highly multiplexed, patient-like NGS reference materials that let laboratories develop, validate and routinely monitor sequencing assays across the whole workflow. The range covers somatic cancer - ctDNA liquid biopsy mixes and plasma-like reference materials at defined allele frequencies, FFPE and gDNA tumor mutation, fusion RNA, CNV, TMB, MSI, HRD, MRD, myeloid and lymphoma materials - as well as reproductive health (NIPT matched reference materials for trisomies, 22q11 and sex chromosome aneuploidies), inherited disease (inherited cancer, BRCA1/2 LGR, carrier screening, cardiovascular), pharmacogenomics and HIV-1 drug resistance sequencing. Variants are quantitated by digital PCR and the materials are manufactured in cGMP-compliant, ISO 13485-certified facilities in the USA.

Danyel Biotech is the distributor of SeraCare Seraseq reference materials in Israel, providing local sales, technical service, and application support.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who supplies SeraCare Seraseq reference materials in Israel?

Danyel Biotech supplies Seraseq NGS reference materials in Israel, providing sales, local service and application support.

What is the difference between a Mutation Mix and a Reference Material?

Mutation Mixes are purified DNA/RNA ready for library preparation; the ctDNA Reference Materials are in a plasma-like matrix and FFPE Reference Materials are FFPE curls, so they also challenge the extraction step of the workflow.

Why are several allele frequencies or scores offered?

Each level (for example AF 5% to 0.1% and wild-type, or TMB score 7 to 26) is a separate catalog number, so a laboratory can establish limit of detection, linearity and negative controls. Choose the level on the product page.

Are prices listed online?

Seraseq materials are quoted on request - use Request a Quote on the product page.
