Pick the sensor chip by immobilization chemistry: CM5 is the general-purpose carboxymethyl dextran chip, CM7 for small-molecule and fragment work, CM3 and CM4 for large analytes or low non-specific binding, C1 flat carboxyl surface, SA for biotinylated ligands, NTA for His-tagged proteins, Protein A, G and L for antibody capture, L1 for liposomes and PEG for low binding. Series S chips fit Biacore T200, S200, 8K, 1K and 1S+; non-Series S chips fit X100 and older systems. Add the matching capture kit (His, GST, Biotin CAPture, human or mouse antibody, Fab), an amine or thiol coupling kit for covalent immobilization, HBS-EP+, HBS-P+ or PBS-P+ running buffer, regeneration scouting and glycine solutions, and the maintenance kit, Desorb kit, vials, caps and microplates for routine operation.
