Founded in 1939, Daniels Healthcare, was a family company which specialised in providing medical furniture. In 1980, Daniels started manufacturing its own containers. And it was 2003 that SHARPSGUARD® was put on the market, a range that is the result of years of experience.

Through the years, Daniels grew up and today counts more than a hundred collaborators.

In 2016, Daniels Healthcare became part of the MAUSER Group, a world leading company in industrial packaging.

SHARPSGUARD

he SHARPSGUARD® sharps container ranges have been enhanced to enable compliance with the requirements of the Safe Management of Healthcare Waste guidance published by the Department of Health. The ranges include new colour coded containers, lids and labels in a variety of sizes, whilst retaining the very highest standards. The SHARPSGUARD® ranges are manufactured to BS EN ISO 23907, UN3291 and ISO 9001.

POUDS® (Point Of Use Disposal of Sharps) system helps reduce the risk of sharps injuries by bringing the SHARPSGUARD® range of containers closer to the point of use.

The POUDS® range helps you comply with EU Directive 2010/32 prevention from sharps injuries in the hospital and healthcare environments.
