The detection limit of DMB-sialic acid is 57 fmol. TaKaRa's Sialic Acid Fluorescence Labeling Kit is designed to simplify the DMB-derivatization procedure. The reagents are provided in aqueous solutions and the protocol only involves mixing of reagents and incubation.
