Unlike traditional multi-position stirrers, the HS-10 model features a large (10 x 10 in.) square top plate that provides the flexibility to heat and stir larger sample vessles, up to ten inches in diameter (including 1x10L bottles).\n\nThe top-plate features a durable, chemically resistant, white-ceramic coating that provides exceptionally uniform heating for temperature up to 400°C. The five stirring locations are clearly marked, to ease sample loading and ensuring proper positioning of vessels.\n\nTemperature and mixing speed can be viewed on the large digital display and a safety LED illuminates when the top plate temperature exceeds 50°C. An external temperature probe can also be used for applications that require precise control of sample temperature.
