These bacteria lyse more readily after treatment with Ready-Lyse™ Lysozyme and the Gram-Positive Cell Lysis Solution included in the kit. Ready-Lyse Lysozyme is a stable solution of a recombinant lysozyme from a non-mammalian, non-avian source.
